Juan Colin, Chief Operating Officer
In 2019, Juan joined Colin Roofing as Chief Operating Officer. At the time, Colin Roofing only had 3 full-time employees and operated solely in the Antelope Valley. Under Juan's leadership, Colin Roofing expanded to 15 employees across Los Angeles County and opened a second branch in San Diego in 2020.
Prior to joining Colin Roofing, Juan obtained a bachelor's degree in American History from his dream school, Brown University. Additionally, he developed the Bonner Community Engagement program at his college in 2016, interned for Governor Gina Raimondo at the Rhode Island State House in 2017, and worked as a paralegal for Immigrant Defenders Law Center in 2018. These experiences fundamentally impacted Juan's leadership strategy at Colin Roofing. Juan sought to shape the family roofing business with the organization of a law firm, professionalism of a public interest organization, and tenacious spirit of an immigrant-run business.
Today, Colin Roofing is the #1 roofing company in the Antelope Valley according to the AV Press. Juan believes the key to success and happiness is when you use your education, skills, and energy to empower other people.
